Organizational Location: This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Office of the Chief Financial Officer, in Washington, District of Columbia. Duties

As a Financial Program Specialist, at full performance level you will perform the following duties: Performing financial transactions associate with organization activity. Preparing reports from a variety of sources identifying problem areas. Providing timely financial-related advice required to assist management in making effective decisions. Providing analyses, projections, and interpretations to maintain maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

You qualify for the GS-9 grade level if you possess one of the following: Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-7 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Assisting senior level analysts in performing financial transactions. Assisting senior level analysts with the preparation of cost reports. Working with senior level analysts to perform financial analyses. OR Education: 2 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree or master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR LL.B. or J.D., if related OR Combination of Education and Experience: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify for the GS-09 grade level. Only related graduate education in excess of the first year of study may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grades GS-9. ??????
