About the Position: Serves as expert advisor to the Center, providing technical assistance to Program Managers, Project Managers, Program Analysts, Resource Managers, Project Delivery Team members and District Managers and Executives in implementing P2 for all Center projects and programs. This includes planning, design, construction and regulatory functions, for a wide variety of civil, military, support for others and environmental programs.

Duties

Controls and manages project milestones and budgets from preliminary stages through design, construction, and initial operations. Monitors project funds allocated to Center elements, consistent with scheduled work, and measures and monitors performance to assure commitments of all parties are being maintained. Prepares a wide variety of project management reports for reporting, monthly project status reviews with customers, monthly Project Review Board briefings, Command Management Review data validation, and other project data calls as required. Assists in application of resource leveling or resource reallocation techniques to align Center resources at the appropriate level of detail with Primavera and Oracle Financial Analyzer) activities.

OR Completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Project Management, Business, Management. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
