About the Position:
Incumbent is assigned as a project scheduler in the Installation Support and Programs Management Division to support effective and efficient project development, scheduling, execution and control in accordance with the Project Delivery Business Process.
Position may be filled at any grade level. (GS-9/11 or 12).
Duties
Assists in preparing documentation of scope, schedule and budget expectations.
Tracks and reports project scope, schedule and budget execution throughout the life of the project.
Provides expert review and troubleshooting of project progress, measuring performance and taking necessary corrective actions to maintain agreed upon schedule and cost.
Assists Project Managers and Project Delivery Team in monitoring thresholds and issues in Primavera.
Coordinator for inputting and maintaining technical and administrative information for the team's projects into the Corps of Engineers Financial Management System (CEFMS) and the automated Corps of Engineers Project Management System (P2).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position may require a one-year probationary period.
- Position may require up to 10% TDY.

Specialized Experience GS-09: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in entering data into P6 network pertaining to projects, and other software systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
OR
Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or JD. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business, Project Management, Information Systems (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have at least one year of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required two years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. Specialized Experience GS-11: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting in qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing and measuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of the P6 network analysis schedule pertaining to projects; conducting studies to include analyzing findings and making recommendations on implementation and improvements in the P6 network analysis schedule. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
OR
Completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business, Project Management, Information Systems (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have at least two years of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required three years.
