This incumbent of this position serves as an IT Specialist (Systems Analysis) and could be assigned to any one of the key functional areas within the Air Traffic Voice Switch System Team, which are Systems Engineering; Software Engineering; Configuration Management; Hardware Engineering; and System Test and Evaluation.

Duties

Our operational groups focus on the key daily mission of providing second level engineering support and serve as the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) for assigned commissioned National Airspace System (NAS) systems. Our services support the safety mission within the FAA Administrator’s Strategic Plans and Goals.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-H (FG/GS 10-12) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G (FG/GS 5-9) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized Experience may include but is not limited to: experience with Software Development / Configuration Management of systems that use voice switching.ANDExperience must be IT related; the experience may be demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.
