The Simulation Branch, ANG-E16 provides simulation support for controller-in-the-loop simulations to validate equipment, procedures, and airspace before implementation and acceptance in the air traffic field facilities. The Branch also provides a laboratory capability to conduct human factors controller performance studies and for controller/flight deck interface studies.
Duties
This position directs the work of subordinate employees and/or managers for more than one organizational unit/project/program within a major subdivision. Manages the simulation support for controller-in-the-loop simulations for the purpose of validating equipment, procedures and airspace before implementation and acceptance in the air traffic field facilities. The work includes a mixture of routine and complex projects/programs based on the objectives of ANG-E16 and ANG.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.
