Duties

Prepares contracts for private functions, using established costs. Orders flowers, decorations, etc. Prepares all related invitation orders, party work sheets and contracts. Assists patrons with time schedules for weddings and other formal functions. Analyzes requirements of the occasion and recommends suitable services, menus and beverage items. Coordinates with club manager, food service staff and patrons. Draws up contracts making commitment for requested functions. Serves as technical advisor on correct protocol procedures.

Requirements

• Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
• Must be able to work a schedule that includes working some nights, weekends, and possible holidays.

Qualifications

1a. One year of specialized work experience that equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the duties of this position. OR 1b. Education leading to bachelor's degree directly related to the duties to be performed. AND 2. Must possess exceptional communication and people skills in customer service and problem resolution. Preferred Criteria: Post high school education related to the duties to be performed, experience in sales and customer service as well as knowledge and experience with catering management software. NOTE: The above minimum qualifications must be described within the duties of previous work experience listed on the applicant's resume and assessment/questionnaire.
