You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the Industrial Process Innovation Group (Code 1521), Headquarters Support Division (Code 1520), naval Shipyard Support Office (Code 1500) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Position Duty Station Location is Washington Navy Yard, District of Columbia.

Duties

You will monitor and evaluate overall shipyard performance. You will develop performance criteria and compile and analyze extensive data elements for measurement of complex industrial functions. You will implement and evaluate programs to improve overall management, operational and cost performance of the shipyards, and appraise accomplishment of initiatives to ensure achievement of desired results. You will develop and/or assist in development of rational and data supporting recommendations for NAVSEA policy and facilities.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience developing and implementing transformation efforts focused on Naval Shipyards; Experience monitoring, evaluating and benchmarking shipyard performance, conducting management or continuous process improvement Experience developing recommendations and carrying out actions related to naval shipyard processes, procedures, and overhead management; Experience reviewing and overseeing NAVSEA marketing processes. Experience developing transformation criteria, compiling and analyzing extensive data elements for measurement of complex industrial functions.
