About the Position: Serves as a Lessons Learned Analyst (Operations) for the Joint Activities Command at Fort Liberty, NC.

Duties

Collect, analyze, and disseminates joint strategic and operational lessons and best practices from operations and exercises. Represent the Commanding General as a liaison officer in support of command requirements. Analyze tactics, techniques, and procedures in direct support or special operations forces and interagency partners during operations.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET Security Clearance with Specialized Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, employee must successfully pass a urinalysis screening prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• May be required to work uncommon tour of duty hours, working either fixed or rotating shift which may include evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
• This position is Deployable and may travel 30% or more to OCONUS locations. A physical is REQUIRED as a condition of employment prior to appointment and as needed, thereafter
• Position subject to one year probationary period unless previously completed.
