Qualifications
We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below:
To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as experience developing strategies and approaches for data management projects that are complex and large in scope; conducts analyses and make recommendations.
Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:
Skill in developing new methodologies to implement advances in environmental compliance.
Skill in reviewing final legislation to determine actions necessary to meet the regulations intent.
Skill in leading quality assurance processes and making process improvements.
Ability to assess and correlate environmental data, and discusses technical aspects of work with scientists, engineers, and other environmental experts to include mathematical models and applies advanced analytical and statistical methods and techniques to analyses.
Skill in information technology integration and databases.
Ability to work effectively with other stakeholders.
Skill in written communication to include developing guidelines and creating reports for management.
Skill in program management practices and procedures to resolve problems of major significance to the Agency.
Ability to make recommendations for new projects or programs considering broad program goals and national priorities.
Skill in oral communication to relay technical information to non-technical personnel.
Skill in planning procurements, estimating costs, and preparing statements of work.
Ability to define scope of work and review and approve or disapprove contractor vouchers for payment.
Ability to approve or disapprove of all deliverable work products submitted by contractors and submit final reports to management.
