About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Fort Lee Network Enterprise Center.
Administers and monitors Local Network Enterprise Center components of the regionalized Risk Management Framework.
Duties
Ensure application of configuration standards and advises the Information System Security Manager on cybersecurity configuration management issues as required.
Implements, coordinates and monitors security measures from the installation level designed to ensure, protect and restore IT systems, services and capabilities for the installation and its tenants.
Provides interpretation and clarification of higher headquarters guidance and revises and updates all publications as necessary.

- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must clearly describe the following experience: Candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of systems security certification and accreditation requirements and processes, such as the Department of Defense Risk Management Framework to ensure systems compliance with requirements. Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in applying methods for evaluating, implementing, and communicating IT security tools and procedures. Familiarity and experience in: Communications Security (COMEC) Account and Equipment (COMSEC) Operation and Maintenance, Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assess and Authorize (A&A) process.
This position is in the Information Technology Group, 2210, Work Category at the GG-11 Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.
