This position is located at Fort Gregg Adams.
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
This series is covered under the ACWA examining program. The position is being recruited at the NH-02 level (GS 5-11 equivalent). You must meet the qualification requirements for the position and complete/pass the ACWA assessment
Duties
Provide state-of-the-art hardware and software solutions for Project Management Officer.
Analyze and evaluates existing computer configurations and recommends additions, deletions, and reconfiguration of components for improving systems support capability.
Develop and maintain strategic plans, assess office policy needs and policies to govern IT activities, management staff and PM customers
Requirements
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position.
- Financial Disclosure Statement OGE Form 450 is required on pre-employment and annually thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance for the duration of employment.
- Selectee must meet position requirements for (A) Program Management Certification within 60 months of entrance on duty.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
In addition to completing the ACWA Assessment as mentioned above, to qualify for this NH-02 position at the entry equivalent level (NH-02) you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
To qualify based on your experience, you must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies:1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.3. AND
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: In order to qualify for this position based on experience your resume must describe one year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-01(GS-04) grade level in the Federal service which includes:1) Managing IT projects that require extensive knowledge of IT hardware/software technology. (2) Overseeing projects concerned with the development of security plans, policy and procedures, and experience in applying knowledge of security standards, best practices and DOD system architectures to ensure that cybersecurity is integrated into every aspect of the PL LIS program lifecycle.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01/GS04)
