You will serve as a SECURITY OFFICER in the AIRBORNE COMMAND CONTROL AND LOGISTICS WING of COMAEWINGPAC.
Duties
You will provide direct support to the Commander in the overall day-today management of the Command?s Information, Personnel, Physical, Operations, Foreign, and Industrial Security Programs.
You will serve as Command Security Director for all command security personnel including active duty.
You will make authoritative determinations and advise on technical security issues as they relate to the safeguarding of information, physical property, and work operations of the organization and agency?s mission.
You will work under broad delegated authority and be responsible for independently planning, scheduling, coordinating, carrying out, and monitoring the effectiveness of the operation of the security programs.
You will provide guidance to various departments and divisions monitoring compliance with the Regional Information and Personnel Security Program.
You will determine security controls and storage requirements for the protection of classified information.
You will formulate and coordinate the Information Security education programs within the Command.
You will oversee and coordinate security requirements for classified contracts with DOD contractors to ensure compliance with the Industrial Security Program pursuant to the requirements set forth in the National Industrial Security Manual.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating the effectiveness of a security program to develop and implement security policies and guidance to safeguard sensitive material, ensure regulatory compliance, and recommend enhancements for protection systems in order to improve security operations.
