Position is located within the Air Traffic Organization, Central Service Center, Operations Support Group, Environmental, Community Involvement, and Analytics Team, AJV-C250.
Duties
Performs multiple, varying, and complex assignments under the minimal direction of a manager, project/program manager, team leader, or more experienced technical specialist. Applies experience and comprehensive knowledge of FAA air traffic control processes and procedures to perform required airspace and procedures analysis.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Security Requirement: Moderate Risk (5). This position requires completion and favorable adjudication of a background investigation prior to appointment, unless a waiver is obtained. Subject to a 5 year period reinvestigation.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience: To qualify for this position, candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the (FV-I or FG/GS-13) level that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in this position.
