This position is located at Departmental Offices, Management CFO. As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will primarily supervise the Office of Financial Management (OFM) staff involved in budget formulation and execution, and general administrative process improvement.
Duties
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-14. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position.
Participate in meetings with senior leaders at Treasury to communicate financial and administrative goals and results.
Develop recurring and long-range program plans, goals, objectives, and milestones.
Identify and develop ways to resolve problems or cope with issues which directly affect the accomplishment of principal program goals and objectives.
Set multi-year work plans and assures that unit meets goals.
Evaluate requirements for additional resources and balances organization needs with overall mission requirements and resource interests.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Experience in developing and reviewing a wide variety of written materials related to Financial Management, using experience with laws and regulations affecting financial management; AND
Experience resolving issues and coordinating leadership approval of financial, staffing and contractual documents; AND
Experience working with senior officials regarding issues with high level options and recommendations.
Specialized Experience for the GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position is defined as experience and a working knowledge in ALL of the following:
-Experience assisting in the development of a wide variety of written materials related to Financial Management using experience with laws and regulations affecting financial management.; AND
-Experience working with and advising senior officials on high level issues.
