Duties
Guide soldiers through various resident courses, aiding them in becoming a qualified Special Operations Forces deployable asset.
Serve as the Training Records clerk at the civilian personnel for activities encompassing the processing and maintenance of attendance and academic files/records for all students attending courses at USAJFKSWCS and the NCO Academy.
Monitor, schedule and balance the workload among employees, makes adjustments to meet priorities and deadlines.
Perform administrative duties related to the academic records arena.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain Secret Security Clearance.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. One year of specialized experience which includes experience in 1) Identifying and recommending solutions to a wide range of administrative problems; 2) Utilizing written and oral and communication skills to disseminate information to internal or external customers; 3) Utilizing Administrative Records System (ATRRS) to input and maintain data and records; 4) Maintaining office files in accordance with established regulations and guidelines. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
