Duties
Serves as the Program Administrator and subject matter expert (SME) for readiness installations Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) Program.
Provides guidance and training to BOSS representatives on the installation. Oversees, plans, coordinates, and administers activities
based on the pillars of the BOSS program, i.e. community service and recreation and leisure.
Coordinates and conducts monthly BOSS meetings.
Requirements

- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 3 background investigation.
- Hours of work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Work is normally sedentary and performed in an office environment. However, from time to time outside work is required to support special events. This outside work may involve heat, cold, dust, mud, wind, etc.
- The job requires long periods of sitting, standing, walking (sometimes on uneven surfaces), climbing, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling, and regular lifting and carrying of light to moderate weights up to 60 pounds.
Qualifications
1. Applicants must have experience performing work similar to the duties listed above.
2. Must be able to manage multiple projects and determine priorities of work under the guidance of SOPs, APF and NAF BOSS regulations, and immediate supervisor.
3. Ability to learn military correspondence procedures and dealing with the public.
4. Must also possess excellent verbal and written skills in English.
5. Must have a working knowledge of basic software, i.e. Knowledge of budget formulation and administration is also required.
Highly Preferred Criteria
1. At least one year experience as a MWR Single Solider/Service Member Program Advisor.
