About the Position: This is an Administrative Support Assistant (Office Automation), GS-0303-06, position is with the Department of Public Health, Occupational Health Clinic, Located at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah.
Duties
Maintain medical database of employees enrolled in various medical surveillance programs.
Review medical database and updates it as needed to eliminate inconsistencies, overlap, and duplication and ensures only current material is retained.
Improve database management by simplifying or consolidating databases.
Create and maintain patient schedules.
Receive requests for pre-employment physicals for applicants of installation positions.
Using an automated system, research and prepare a variety of correspondence, report, memos, graphs, and charts for physician and Occupational Health Staff.
Enter data into a system and researches and correct any errors identified by error messaged.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience (1) providing customer services and assistance to patients and staff; (2) scheduling medical appointments for patients; and (3) updating automated medical systems or databases. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
