About the Position:
This position is located within the Martin Army Community Hospital, Fort Moore, GA. which will serve as Senior Security Specialist in support of a Military Treatment Facilities' (MTF) multi-discipline security program, which include physical, information and operations security (OPSEC), asset protection, emergency preparedness, antiterrorism and force protection.
Duties
Serve as a senior Security Specialist and ensures adherence of physical security requirements for a military treatment facility.
Plan and assign work to be accomplished by subordinates to include establishment of priorities and preparation of project timelines.
Provide direction, guidance, advice, and assistance to all command elements and field sites.
Monitor and report, all incidents, including serious incident reports resulting in criminal investigations conducted within and outside of the organizations.
Assist in the planning, development, and implementation of the Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) and Bio-Surety programs.
Provide guidance on security matters related to foreign personnel and/or visitors to the MTF.
Maintain awareness of all activities that are OPSEC sensitive and advise appropriate personnel about the organization's OPSEC posture and offer recommendations to eliminate or reduce vulnerabilities.
Provide timely intelligence updates, intelligence summaries, threat assessments, and other intelligence products in direct support of the command?s mission.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes overseeing and conducting a multi-discipline security program, which include physical, information and operations security (OPSEC), asset protection, emergency preparedness,
antiterrorism and force protection. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
