About the Position: As a Test Administrator in the Miami, Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). You will administer tests in military entrance test sites, high schools and other educational institutions to individuals wishing to enter military service, using your own vehicle to transport test materials and maintaining security and inventory of the test materials. You may be expected to travel for this position up to a 100% of the time.
Duties
Retrieves and returns test material from storage facilities, remote testing locations, or shipping point. Transfer material to and from the test site.
Ensure only scheduled or authorized participants are admitted.
Report internet issues.
Manage applicant records.
Conduct aptitude examination sessions. Ensures storage, use, and safeguarding of testing materials and equipment in accordance with regulations.
Instructs applicants on testing procedures.
Provide a comfortable, positive environment for testing at a predetermined time and place, within a timeframe established by the supervisor.
Provide military recruiters with a test score report for each potential enlistee when requested.
Resolves testing session problems and issues.
Take appropriate action to remove violators from the session.
Maintain control and decorum of the test site with assistance from military recruiters.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Employee must possess a valid driver?s license to conduct test in remote locations or at schools.
- This position requires the incumbent to work on an intermittent or unscheduled, on-call basis.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement that may be up to 100% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. General Experience: One year of general experience is required. General experience is progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled, such as: 1) Providing instructions and briefings to individuals and groups; 2) Reviewing documents for accuracy, and maintaining files; 3) Interpreting and applying regulations, policies and procedures pertaining to an organization.

Education: Two years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
