You will serve as a SUPV IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) of NAVAL WAR COLLEGE.

Duties

You will oversee the development of an information technology (IT) budget to ensure requirements are allocated funding. You will manage a cybersecurity program to ensure an organization's security design is met. You will develop post implementation review reports that include cost comparisons to original estimates.

Requirements

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area XXXX level XX within 12 months of appointment.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Experience in leading a project or team, setting priorities and assigning work, or serving as a technical expert in the planning and delivery of multiple IT products and services 2) Experience in planning, developing and implementing critical IT projects and services in support of an organization's business and operational functions 3) Knowledge of DON and Federal Acquisitions regulations and previous experience as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) including Contract Writing/Modification, developing Statements of Work, Technical Review, Award processes, Management and monitoring contract performance and compliance, writing Contract's surveillance reports Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
