About the Position: This position will serve as a Management Analyst for Munson Army Health Center located at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.

Duties

Management of Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi) as it relates to five separate functional areas; Manpower, Human Resources, Labor Cost Assignment (LCA), Education and Training, and Readiness. Coordinate corrections and adjustments with appropriate MAHC organization point of contact. Conducts the manpower staffing program through efficient and effective application of standards-based requirements using the Army Staffing Assessment Model. Coordinate with the respective Human Resources Clerk(s) who manage HR source systems. Review informal data information sheets received from organizational elements, other types of management information/reports, information contained on Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS) generated reports, etc.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes analyzing and evaluating manpower effectiveness; preparing reports concerning the area of responsibility for staffing criteria, and conduct analytical studies in the area of civilian personnel and long-range planning. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Finance or Accounting. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Activity Program Coordinator for Purchase CardInternal Controls/IntegrityManpower & PersonnelOrganizational DevelopmentWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
