About the Position: The position is located at the US Army Installation Management Command, Directorate of Public Works (DPW), Fort Moore, GA. Fort Moore is located 100 miles south of Atlanta, GA, and adjacent to Columbus, GA and Phenix City, AL. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Public transportation and free parking are available.
Duties
Develop, collect and assemble project information for use in solicitations, bid documents and contracts.
Analyze projects for urgency of need, validity, design capability, availability of funds, and accuracy of reported data.
Serve as the organizational lead in system development, testing, training, implementation and maintenance for General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS).
Responsible for establishing users' roles; appropriate training for accessing those roles; and upon completion of user training, granting levels of access through the use of Governance Risk Control (GRC).

- This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position the incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.

Current Directorate of Public Works (DPW) employees with competitive status within the local commuting area.
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) serving as the organizational lead in system development, testing, training, implementation and maintenance for General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) or a similar system; and 2) analyzing data in order to determine support needs, interpret reports, and resolve/negotiate problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
