You will serve as a Supervisory Equipment Specialist in the Aviation Operations Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will be responsible for accurate processing of all supply related technical documentation for new Navy weapons system, as well as all supply related technical documentation associated with Engineering Change Proposals and Design Change Notices.
You will ensure program offices are purchasing the correct type and amount of technical documentation to build a sustainable supply chain.
You will be responsible for processing, cataloging and establishing of items of supply, the establishment of data sets.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short term priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the knowledge of DoD Supply Systems policies, theories, techniques and procedures in order to establish new regulations and methods for logistics support systems and programs. I have experience providing policy, planning, coordinating and conducting all functions associated with life cycle management in order to support warfighting capabilities for the Naval Aviation Enterprise. Specific work experience must demonstrate some or all of the following duties: 1) Processing all supply related technical documentation for new weapons systems, as well as all supply related technical documentation associated with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Design Change Notices; 2) Ensuring program offices are purchasing the correct type and amount of technical documentation to build a sustainable supply chain; 3) Working with Subject Matter experts in various operations such as NAVSUP, NAVAIR, DLA, etc. to develop and initiate long range plans and strategies to improve supply equipment processes; 4) Making decisions involving system-wide supply and technical programs to support United States aviation fleet and supply support operations for designated aviation components; 5) Planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work, assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees; evaluates work performance of subordinates.
