This position is located in Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
As a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst, you will direct personnel and serve as expert analyst to management on major mission and/or administrative programs.
Duties
Responsible for setting performance goals, providing performance feedback to employees, ensuring fair treatment of all employees, encouraging, and recognizing employee achievements, fostering career development, resolving complaints and grievances.
Leads initiatives to assess how OCFO can best operate to meet the needs and support employee-driven innovation.
Provides alternatives to problems and various sensitive matters impacting OCFO?s operational and administrative programs and activities.
Provides technical assistance and direct support to leadership on developing, implementing, and monitoring sophisticated management information systems that focus on long and short-range plans, policies and programs to meet mission requirements.
Manages the program by monitoring and analyzing all personnel, financial, and material needs in order to ensure maximum cost effectiveness in the program's operation.
Makes decisions and recommendations on the means to minimize costs and maximize compliance of subordinates with integrity standards and all applicable laws, regulations, and instructions governing employee standards of conduct.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/16/2023.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 08/16/2023.
GS-14: You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Review assignments and programs activities for planning, organizing, evaluation and analysis of policies and procedures.
Performing internal and external communications, training, and employee development and engagement for mission support.
Manage and coordinate budget and acquisition planning processes in support of initiatives and project plans developed by subordinates.
Develop procedures, provide policy guidance, and assign work requirements to subordinate staff.
Work with supervisors and peers to establish division objectives, goals, priorities and deadlines, and to formulate plans to meet substantial changes in workload.
