About the Position: This position is located at the U.S. Army Human Resources Command, Analysis Branch Fort Knox KY.
Duties
The employee serves as an Enlisted Schools Assignment Analyst for assigned Military Occupational Series (MOS).
Responsible for reviewing and analyzing assigned Career Management Field training classes involving hundreds of training seats in over 100 different MOS's recruited by HRC AGR Accessions, and through MOS classifications.
Responsible for the timely and accurate review of assigned school class schedules and quotas and analyzing pre and post attrition factors to recommend sufficient recruiting contract opportunities exist for AGR personnel.
Prepares reports and presents briefings to inform management of analysis results for use in the decision-making process or for in progress status information.
Obtains information and data from a variety of sources; compiles and analyzes data to identify trends, deficiencies and accomplishments.
Independently researches and references applicable guidelines and precedent actions to resolve the various problems and situations that arise.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Incumbent may be required to perform occasional Temporary Duty Travel (TDY).

Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience is defined as one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes experience with monitoring authorizations, distribution, strengths, professional development and assignments. Experience reviewing losses, gains, and open requisitions to ensure assignments and promotions are made within the limits of the distribution plan, and closely monitoring changes to the distribution plan to ensure qualitative and quantitative distribution of military personnel authorizations.; experience interpreting and implementing human resource guidance, policy, and procedures.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
Education

Master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
