Duties

You will provide manpower management and maintain personnel accountability of the APF civilian workforce. You will maintain and continuously updates status of more than 100 Military Occupational Specialty (MOS). You will provide current staffing goals and authorizations for each Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) for the command. You will assist the S-1 Officer in coordinating personnel requirements for upcoming deployments/exercises. You will oversee accountability for command directed hurricane evacuations and specialty events. You will develop reports required by higher Headquarters, to include responses to data calls which are often extremely complex and diversified. You will serve as a voting member of the Resources Quality Management Board, providing input on command resource management decisions regarding placement, hiring, and monetary obligations. You will serve as the Program Manager for the ID Cards Functional Area and ensure the DEERS Office provides the highest level of customer service support to its patrons. You will attend weekly Commanding Officer Staff meetings in the absence of the S-1 Officer. You will ensure S-1 morning report is accurate and published daily.

Requirements

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: In determining manpower requirements and the most efficient distribution of available for manpower resources; to include reviewing and analyzing manpower affecting the work force organization, and reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, and advising on improving the effectiveness of manpower utilization. Education

In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify for the position based on education. Education obtained must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. To qualify based on education, applicant must possess:

Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree

or

3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

or

LL.M., if related
