You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (BRANCH MANAGER) of the INDUSTRIAL SERVICES BRANCH in the NAVY WEAPONS DIVISION of the ENERGETICS MANUFACTURING DEPARTMENT of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $128,043).
Duties
You will serve as M52 Industrial Services Branch Manager.
You will direct work for the manufacture, repair and refurbishment of inert non-nuclear components, special types of jigs, fixtures, tools, dies and molds necessary to accomplish repairs on specialized test equipment and handling gear.
You will provide first level supervision to nonsupervisory employees in the general area of electrical/mechanical operations as outlined in various publications and local work instructions within the capabilities of the Detachment.
You will be responsible for the quality and quantity of work performed and assures efficient use of resources.
You will be responsible for all aspects of project execution from estimating to delivery and includes cost, schedule, and quality.
You will support a manufacturing organization.
You will be required to report to the duty location advertised in the announcement on a regular and reoccurring basis. Occasional telework options may be available.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating and modifying logistical support requirements or objectives for the manufacturing and sustainment of weapons products or services to meet logistical objectives.
