This position is located in the Office of the Managing Director (OMD), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) located in Washington, DC. Relocation expenses will not be paid. THIS VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT MAY BE USED TO FILL ADDITIONAL POSITIONS WITHIN 90 DAYS.

Duties

The incumbent serves as a Program Analyst with responsibility for executive management support, coordination, review and development of documents and briefing materials, internal and external communications support activities, program management of diverse projects and programs, program planning and evaluation, performance and policy reviews, task management, internal and external staff coordination activities, studies, analysis and surveys, human resources and cyber workforce management support and training coordination, and various special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of this announcement.  Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. GS-13 Specialized Experience:  Applicants must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 in the Federal service.  For this position, specialized experience includes the following:    1. Experience researching and analyzing program processes and policies and administrative operations for OCIO to present findings, prepare reports and make recommendations. 2. Experience developing briefings, reports, presentations and/or other feedback relating to compliance or improvement of OCIO programs and task management. 3. Experience preparing a variety of comprehensive status reports, management summaries, and briefing papers that identify problems, and providing recommendations.PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
