You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SUPPORTABILITY AND DESIGN ANALYSIS DIVISION, COMBAT SYSTEMS TEST AND EVALUATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, PORT HUENEME DIVISION.

Duties

You will serve as the Logistics Management Specialist lead in support of the Littoral Combat System, Amphibious platforms and Department support Combat Systems. You will lead government and contractor teams in logistics and readiness assessments and investigations during sustainment, modernization, test, and availability activities. You will lead the development and management of methods for assessing readiness including logistics products and deployment readiness, sustainability, and readiness verification activities. You will lead the review of systems, projects, and program reporting milestone requirements. You will define and identify system performance specifications, system relationships, and modeling to quantify performance issues and results.

• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting logistics studies and analysis to prepare reports identifying issues impacting the life cycle maintenance of Combat Systems.
