This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base (DIB) & Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This position is located with the U.S. Army Sustainment Command, Mobilization & Power Projection OPS Directorate located in Rock Island, IL. This position is a temporary NTE 1 year, with provisions to extend up to three years.

Duties

Compile information for input to staff studies for determining recommendations for requirement changes. Oversee installation logistics operations for the command's mission (i.e. installation ammunition supply, field level maintenance, transportation services). Review higher level headquarters' orders/policies to identify requirements to current and future logistics operations. Prepare informational papers on various aspects of logistics plans focusing on installation-level logistics operations.

• This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
