You will serve as the Long-Range Aerial Delivered Maritime Mine (LRADMM) Assistant Program Manager (APM) in the Mine Warfare Program Office (PMS 495) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS. LRADMM is a new start program.
Duties
You will be responsible for all aspects of program execution in the acquisition and fielding of the Long-Range Aerial Delivered Maritime Mine (LRADMM).
You will ensure the effective and efficient development of the system to meet sponsor requirements, requiring extensive coordination with interfacing programs and program office.
You will provide technical and production guidance and support to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) leaders and individual IPT members.
You will direct technical activities of projects to ensure both long and short range goals are met to the maximum extent possible within manpower and fiscal resources.
You will conduct critical technical analyses of systems, subsystems and components in order to assess these developments against operational requirements.
You will evaluate the potential of new developments to predict capabilities individually and on an integrated system basis.
You will coordinate development, production and life cycle support plans for LRADMM.
You will oversee, plan for, and allocate funds and advise analysts of need for reprogramming and other major budget issues.
You will formulate strategies and tactics to acquire and allocate resources to achieve program goals, milestones and schedule requirements.
You will represent the organization to senior level personnel internal and external to the Department to provide written and oral advice, direction, or reports on program concepts and status and address sensitive program issues as required.
You will be responsible for contract planning, award, and monitoring, budgetary allocation and oversight, LRADMM procurement, fielding and in-service support, joint service coordination, interfaces management, and FMS matters.

- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NH-03 (GS-13 Equivalent), in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector managing a maritime mine countermeasure (MCM) program or project to ensure compliance with technical requirements, specifications, standards, or procedures in the development, sustainment, or repair of MCM shipboard systems.
