You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the PUBLISHING AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT BRANCH of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will perform the full range of duties associated with the management, administration, and oversight of various programs within the Publishing and Logistics Branch.
You will determine budget requirements for ten funding authorizations totaling approximately 55 million.
You will perform the full range of immediate supervisory duties for subordinate supervisors as well as making decisions on technical and personnel problems presented by subordinate supervisors.
You will coordinate and liaison with external and internal organizations which include frequent interface with General Officers/SES Levels.
You will monitor and fine-tune the branch strategic plan, develop program objectives and strategies, and direct staff effort to implement long and short-range plans that achieve goals and objectives.
You will analyze and interpret broad policy set by higher authority.
You will direct, develop, administer, and oversee the implementation of new and innovative policies, regulations, programs, and procedures pertaining to printing, publishing, facilities, Pentagon renovation, non-IT equipment, and logistic management.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and interpreting broad policy; determining budget requirements; directing staff effort to implement long and short-range plans; coordinating and liaising with internal and external organizations; and, serving as the principal advisor and/or overseeing printing, publishing, forms, records, reports, and directives.
