DCSAs Center for Development of Security Excellence is seeking a Supervisory Marketing & Communications Program Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for and managing wide-ranging programs, special projects, and initiatives with responsibility for researching, planning, executing, and evaluating complex public affairs operations, programs, policies, and strategies of significant importance of which affect CDSE mission areas. As a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM SPECIALIST MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS you will be responsible for the following duties:

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG 13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Team leader in the overall formulation, development, execution, and evaluation of agency programs; Identify communication needs and develop informational materials that inform the appropriate stakeholders of products, services, policies, programs, activities, plans, execution, and evaluation of the effectiveness of information and communication programs in furthering agency goals; Developing security education, training and certification marketing content; Engage stakeholders to address ongoing engagement preferences of products and services; and Utilize communications web technologies, content management and social media platforms. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Education and Training Knowledge of teaching, training, research, making presentations, lecturing, testing, and other instructional methods. 2. Customer Service Works and communicates with clients and customers (e.g., any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit provides, including individuals who work in your agency or in other agencies or organizations outside the Government) to satisfy their expectations. Committed to quality services. 3. Leadership Influences, motivates, and challenges others; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations. 4. Oral Communication Expresses ideas and facts to individuals or groups effectively; makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others; facilitates an open exchange of ideas. 5. Communications and Media Knowledge of the production, communication and dissemination of information and ideas to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
