Serves as the Supervisory Program Specialist (Academy Director) for security education and training and to address the multidisciplinary areas of security within DCSA: Personnel Vetting, Background Investigations, Adjudications, Industrial Security, Critical Technology Protection and others as they evolve. Responsible for the oversight and execution of education and training in accordance with the Securing Training Leadership.
Duties
This position provides direction and guidance for the internal DCSA learning and development for security training, education, and awareness products and services. Key element of the Mission Director is supporting the Deputy Assistant Director, ST, in identifying needed organizational development and change management targets and resources, brokering the resources, and encouraging their use as transformational tools.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG 14 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes:
Demonstrated experience fostering innovation and build successful programs for large organizations;
Learning and development methodologies and the management of various training and delivery methods;
Education programs and instructional techniques and security programs, policies, and procedures to manage a comprehensive security education, training, and awareness program;
Leading teams and overseeing diverse and complex programs within DOD or intelligence organizations.
