You will serve as a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the USMC Manpower and Reserve Affairs of HQ US MARINE CORPS.

Duties

You will provide technical advice, guidance and assistance on supply operations; trains personnel and customers on supply procedures. You will perform technical research on materials and services to ensure compliance. Identify sources of supply, verify available funding and process requisitions for materials and services. You will establish and maintain a material data library to process requisitions within required time frames. You will maintain publication library of federal and military supply technical publications, instructions and directives. You will coordinate the implementation of actions involving requirements determination and acquisition of supplies, services and materials. You will coordinate local policy, procedure and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. You will develop staff and recommend implementation of Standards of Operations Procedures (SOPs) and desktop instructional documents. You will review, analyze and recommend improvements in operations, programs and standard methods or procedures related to materials and services procurement.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: initiating, developing and administering supply functions; maintaining operating supply stock inventory; and maintaining operational supply budget.
