You will serve as a TECHNICIAN in the AVAILABILITY PLANNING DIVISION, MODERNIZATION AND INSTALLATION DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER, PORT HUENEME DIVISION.

Duties

You will serve as a Team Lead for Combat Systems Technical Documentation. You will lead a team of Combat System Technical Documentation personnel in support of US Navy Surface Fleet, US Coast Guard, Foreign Military Sales, and other ship/shore facilities. You will provide on-site technical guidance and services to the Fleet related to ship combat systems technical documentation. You will develop proposals, Work Breakdown Structures, Task Planning Sheets, and reports in support of assigned projects. You will develop and brief position papers to all levels of management that outline current and future plans, requirements, and concerns.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying electronics engineering concepts, methods, and techniques to analyze and develop technical documentation in support of ship weapon systems installation and modernization projects.
