About the Position: Serves as Medical Requirements Developer working with DOD, MEDCOM, DHA and Army Medical Department (AMEDD) located in San Antonio, Texas.
Duties
Supports the Requirements Analysis and Management (RAM) Division by establishing Integrated Capability Development Teams (ICDT) and stakeholders to document Functional Requirements Baseline (FRB) for medical capabilities.
Develops and revises methods for collecting data, analyzing new approaches to problem areas/needs assessments and coordinating research regarding customer needs.
Helps resolve controversies among systems representatives, federal agencies, contractor support and corporate management.
Provides Acquisition consultancy and education for MEDCOM.
Conducts frequent coordination meetings and program reviews to ensure full understanding and communication on critical project issues and schedules.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes planning, organizing and conducting, complex analytical studies involving substantive programs. Assignments involve efforts to develop and implement broad programs based on new and revised legislation. Develop new program objectives and regulatory initiatives to facilitate achievement of program goals and objectives. Originating new techniques, establishing criteria, or developing new information. Gather information; identifying and analyzing issues based on domains, validating and documenting requirements and developing recommendations to resolve substantive problems of overlap within large organizations.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
