About the Position: DHA NCR Market Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Director for Education, Training & Research Department of Hospital EDU & TNG (HEAT) NLTH PROF ED, Practical Nurse CRSE/M6 Bethesda MD

Duties

Receives telephone calls and visitors in the assigned work area. Arranges for meetings or conferences including selecting mutually satisfactory time, reserving meeting facilities, notifying participants of time and place. Inputs timecards into the automated system. Maintains time and attendance records for backup documents and assists office personnel in resolving leave problems associated with time and attendance reporting. Utilizes the Defense Travel System (DTS) to make travel arrangements for the personnel in the assigned work area and submits their travel vouchers. Serves as the main point of contact in the assigned work area for publications duty, forms management duty, and records management duty. Receives and controls incoming correspondence, publications, and regulations. Perform fiscal analysis of funds and report?s findings to the senior administrator for use in program planning, evaluation, and fiscal management. Initiates, prepares and completes purchase orders in coordination with the work area for direct support medical, education, conventional office equipment, supplies and materials. Establishes internal programs and controls to assure compliance with appropriate JC or other regulatory requirements and follows up to ensure corrective action is taken in those areas found to be deficient. Advises personnel on procedures for preparing and processing a wide variety of personnel actions. Uses office automation to accomplish clerical, statistical, and data entry tasks in support of the administrative work of the assigned work area. Plans, organizes and directs practices and administrative procedures to ensure consistency and compliance with accepted policies and guidance.
