You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the PRODUCT SUPPORT BRANCH of the MARITIME ELECTRONIC WARFARE SYSTEMS DIVISION in the SPECTRUM WARFARE SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
Per 5 CFR 335.103(c)(3)(v), this is a non-competitive reassignment opportunity open to those qualified who hold (or have held) a position equivalent to (or higher than) an NT-5 (GS-13 and GS-14 equivalency) on a permanent basis in the competitive service.
Duties
You will plan, coordinate, and ensure on time installation of all engineering change proposals (ECP) across the Electromagnetic Warfare Division?s family of products.
You will develop detailed project plans, preparing cost estimates, negotiating resources and providing direct interface with sponsors.
You will identify and analyze the impact(s) to supportability, maintainability, and lifecycle cost when implementing a change to a DoD acquisition Program.
You will report status directly to the customer to include plan of action and milestones, risk mitigation, cost, acquisition strategy and resource requirements.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing and evaluating technical project requirements to develop, plan and implement project schedule, milestones and deliverables to ensure the execution of mission objectives in support of an electronic warfare program.
