About the Position: Serves as Program Manager for the Deputy to the Executive Director for Support Operations, U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC). Responsible to identify and justify specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, equipment, and services to support the assigned Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS) Program.

Duties
Serves as program manager that provides direction/guidance to subordinate organizations matters pertaining to Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS).
Develop methods, criteria, and policies requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, equipment, and services to support the assigned Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS) Program.
Analyzes statistical data and performs objective reviews of government and contractor performed functions to verify accuracy, effectiveness, and compliance of operations.
Reviews and evaluates logistical operations performance and compliance in assigned areas of responsibility in the execution of supply/maintenance operations.
Serves as principal representative for one or more Army Sustainment Command (ASC) units or systems on matters pertaining to multiple logistics programs.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent to obtain and/or maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R, Joint Ethics Regulation, dated 17-Nov-2011.
- This is an Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics-Advanced Certification within 48 months of entrance on duty.
- Position requires temporary duty (TDY) business travel approximately 25% of the time.

GS 13-Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Interpret laws, regulations, and instructions for implementation of supply/maintenance operations; 2) Develop qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate logistics operations; 3) Identify supply/maintenance operation solutions in accordance with the organizational priorities; 4) Research logistics and supply/maintenance information for briefing and studies. The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/ level position in the federal service (GS-12).
