This position is part of the DoD, Missile Defense Agency. The incumbent will be responsible for leading acquisition planning and execution for the procurement of knowledge based services by developing acquisition strategies, preparing documentation, and briefing leadership on proposed strategies.
Duties
This position is being filled under the memorandum from the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness (USD(P&R)) "Expansion of Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense," dated October 15, 2021.
As a Supv Program Analyst at the NH-0343-4 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Lead acquisition planning and execution for the procurement of knowledge based services by developing acquisition strategies, preparing documentation, and briefing leadership on proposed strategies.
Supervise other members of the acquisition team and plan/coordinate work of the team.
Serve as a subject matter expert in the acquisition of knowledge based services to include the use of Best in Class sources and Category Management Principles.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the NH-04 broadband level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NG-03/GS-13 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Experience conducting acquisition planning, developing acquisition strategies, performing market research activities, and preparing acquisition documentation for knowledge based services OR
Experience communication skills (oral and written) including presenting briefings to key management personnel acquisition strategies. OR
Experience leading, planning, and evaluating the activities of cross-functional teams responsible for the procurement of knowledge based services
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
