About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Law Enforcement expert for the Department of the Army and the Law Enforcement Branch Chief, Office of the Provost Marsha General. Incumbent will be responsible for the Department Army worldwide Law Enforcement Program.

Duties

Providing insight to senior officials on the resolution of complex law issues. Publishing policies on law enforcement reporting, military police investigations, and the use of force for law enforcement and security forces. Representing Command at National, Department of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff formal conferences, panels and meetings. Evaluating the effectiveness of the Department of the Army Law Enforcement Programs. Developing long and short range goals and objectives for the Department of the Army Law Enforcement Program. Directing work of subordinate staff and developing long-rang goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Pre-employment and random drug testing is required IAW AR 600-85.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
  • Incumbent of this position will be required to complete a SF-312, Classified Information Nondisclosure Agreement (NDA).
  • This position is designated Key Essential
  • A one year trial/probationary period for Supervisors is required.
