Duties
You will plan, direct, and coordinate contractual and procurement policy actions.
You will analyze, evaluate, and review proposed and on-going procurements and cost and pricing data for highly complex multi-year acquisition.
You will develop and present convincing oral/written presentations to all levels of government and industry.
You will lead the day-to-day work of subordinates assigned to the team.
You will insure that the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values are communicated to the team and integrated into the team's strategies.
You will monitor and report on the status and progress of work, checking on work in progress and reviewing completed work.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and final Top Secret (SCI) security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- I am willing and able to hold and maintain an Unlimited Contracting Officer's Warrant in accordance with FAR Subpart 1.6.
- I am willing to provide a written agreement to remain in Federal Service in the position for at least (3) years.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
- This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band NH-03 the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, directing, and coordinating contractual and procurement policy actions, analyzing, evaluating, and reviewing proposed and on-going procurements and cost and pricing data.
