About the Position: Serves as a management analyst for the Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS) Branch in a Medical Center and is responsible for the systems analysis of the Defense Medical Human Resources System internet (DMHRSi) for medical center, and the dental activities under the purview of the installation's Dental Commander.
Duties
Ensure timely and accurate collection of man-hour utilization data through employee self-service, timekeeper specialist entry and batch entry into Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi).
Primarily responsible for the collection, analysis, maintenance, consolidation, evaluation and processing of man-hours and associated salaries for the Defense Health Agency's (DHA) MEPRS Program.
Serve as a point of authoritative information for requirements and procedures of the DMHRSi LCA.
Coordinate guidance, requirements, and aids on the correct use of the system and proper reporting of man-hours with personnel at all levels throughout medical and dental associated activities.
Review processed data to ensure compliance with business rules and guidance from DHA regulations and the Cost Accounting Division, J-8.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes: experience in utilizing automated cost accounting and recordkeeping systems such as Defense Medical Human Resource System internet (DMHRSi) or Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS); assisting with manpower issues by gathering, reviewing data for studies and surveys to identify trends and accuracy of healthcare operations; utilizing office automation software to draft reports, create spreadsheets, graphs, and presentations for departments within the organization; assisting with training to staff on system utilization within various departments.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education: Successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as Business Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Information Management, Business Analysis, Statistics.

Combination of Education and Experience: Have the specialized experience as described in A, but less than one year; and I have at least one year of graduate education as described in B, but less than the required two years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.).
