Duties
You will use and provide assistance on the use of financial and automated data systems such as CFMS, Maximo, COGNOS, WAWF, FIS, BIMS, iNFADS, eTracker, eContracts and eProjects.
You will conduct management surveys, researches projects, and provides advisory services on less complex issues impacting the facilities management processes, functions, and organization of the Public Works Department.
You will perform liaison functions with internal and external accounting activities and payment offices to ensure proper project financial transactions.
You will administer the building of funding data in the automated data systems, linking funds to the appropriate Work Package, Authorization, and Job Order Number as applicable.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
For the GS-9: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Providing resolution for administrative problems, improve administrative workflow and provide advice and assistance concerning financial systems
(2) Applying standard and well-established and management principles, theories, and methods to review the efficiency of financial management systems.
(3) Interpreting financial and administrative policies/practices and local operating procedures to ensure compliance.
(4) Using a wide variety of software programs, e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio in order to edit, reformat, and produce a wide range of documents (e.g. databases, spreadsheets, and reports with graphics and tables).
For the GS-7: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
(1) Identifying administrative problems, improve administrative workflow and provide advice and assistance concerning financial systems.
(2) Applying financial and administrative policies/practices and local operating procedures to ensure compliance.
(3) Using a wide variety of software programs, e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio in order to enter data in a wide range of documents (e.g. databases, spreadsheets, and reports with graphics and tables).

Education
In lieu of specialized experience requirements you may qualify for this position with the following education:
For the GS-9:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree
OR
Possession of an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to this position being filled.
