The Counterterrorism Division (CTD) Advanced Projects Unit provides technical capabilities and applications to enhance the FBI's ability to detect, defeat, and investigate threats to national security. APU supports a strategy which seeks to eliminate technology gaps hindering analytical and investigative processes, identify fresh insights into existing FBI data, and cultivate innovative processes for collecting and sharing vital information.
Duties
As Task Lead, collaborate with the Contract Officer's Representative with duties related to contract acquisition and management.
Oversee and manage projects to include project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
Track and manage project deliverables, schedules, and scopes based on stakeholder requirements and operational needs.
Inspires, motivates, and guides others toward goal accomplishments and implementing innovative solutions.
Gather and analyze business and technical requirements for mission needs.
Create and manage implementation plans of simple to complex solutions that may require network, hardware, software, policy, and/or engaging with multiple internal and external partners.
Attend or lead meetings, briefings with internal and external partners.
Identify and implement processes to improve performance efficiencies and outcomes.
Perform aforementioned duties to support CTAPU at multiple geographic locations.
Facilitate the transfer of CTAPU equipment and projects to Redstone Arsenal from Northern Virginia.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience (SE):
GS-14: Applicant must possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level. SE is defined as follows:
Interpreting and evaluating IT operational policies, procedures, methods and programs and specifications, capabilities as well as operational and functional characteristics of IT systems.
Engaging with customers and stakeholders to identify, collect, and analyze requirements.
Leading software development teams using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Developing in multiple programming languages with at least one project written in Python or JavaScript.
Experience with Cloud (AWS) architecture and design.
