About the Position: Manages Administrative Program. Responsible for the overall management and/or accomplishment of all general administrative and personnel functions and actions required for the support of the organization and its civilian and military personnel. Serves as the organization focal point for all administrative, personnel and finance matters. This includes providing assistance and guidance, and working to resolve and finalize pertinent actions and issues.
Duties
Ensure all handwritten drafts, oral instruction, emails, and notes are created in final format while assuring they are properly formatted per regulation.
Receive incoming calls, visitors, and correspondence and properly directs them using a knowledge of staff assignments and priorities.
Requisition office supplies, equipment, publications and arrange for duplicating and printing services.
Interpret applicable guidance and instruct personnel in their responsibilities relating to records and files management, reports control, forms control, and other administrative programs.

Operate a computer using Microsoft Word, Excel, financial management tools, organizer, and other software to create and edit a variety of narrative and tabular documents ensuring accuracy, proper formatting, spelling, and grammar.
Accomplish a variety of liaison work that includes attendance at meetings and conferences with key management personnel.
Perform statistical review, compilation and review of current procurement data to support the total mission of the organization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a two year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes collecting, compiling, or completing a variety of technical reports; reviewing documents for grammar and formatting; AND answering correspondence requiring a comprehensive knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, or policies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
Note: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.
