About the Position: This Administrative Support Assistant (OA) position is located at Headquarters JRTC & Ft. Johnson Assistant Chief of Staff, G4 with a duty location of Ft. Johnson, LA.
Duties
Performs multifunctional administrative services and support for the G4 section to include but not limited to personnel administration, purchasing, data processing, office automation, and files management.
Serves as Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder for buying items.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position will require the ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license. Incumbent may be required to operate an administrative government vehicle in performance of duties.
- This position requires business travel/TDY 10% of the time.
- This position requires the services of a fully qualified typist.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
