Duties
As a/an Supervisory Financial Operations Analyst, you will:
Perform on-going evaluations of the overall performance of various components resulting in recommendations to improve overall operating efficiency and effectiveness.
Participate in the development, operation, and management of large-scale financial systems.
Conduct cost benefit analyses, special studies, reports, surveys, inquiries, evaluations, and projects.
Analyze accounting requirements for automating systems in terms of loan servicing, mortgage insurance premium payments, and portfolio reconciliations.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: For the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year (52 full weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
Participating in efforts to improve financial information systems supporting mortgage programs; AND
Providing technical assistance to co-workers and customers on financial matters related to mortgage program loans; AND
Preparing oral and written reports on financial management matters; AND
Participating in reviews designed to identify ways to improve an organization's operating efficiency and effectiveness; AND
Preparing and implementing new or revised operating procedures.
Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
