About the Position:
Serve as a Human Resources Specialist for the Cyber Excepted Service Proponency Office within the office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Manpower and Reserve Affairs, located at the Pentagon, in Arlington, VA.
Duties
Provide input to human resources policies, programs, and guidance to effectively recruit, develop, manage, and retain the civilian workforce.
Build civilian career pathways based on talent management strategies.
Assist with developing agency-wide workforce and civilian recruitment strategies and plans to meet forecasted staffing requirements across the workforce.
Compile responses to proposed legislation, policies, and standards of high headquarters.
Analyze significant civilian personnel policy and program issues/problems and develops recommended solutions and courses of action for resolution.

Specialized Experience: Your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: utilize knowledge in multiple civilian human resources areas such as: staffing, classification, compensation, and/or performance management to recruit, develop and maintain the workforce; implement civilian recruitment plans to meet forecasted staffing requirements utilizing recruitment authorities and flexibilities (i.e. recruitment/retention incentives); respond to written/verbal inquiries from the field for interpretation, technical assistance and insight. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
